Jonathan Blake: Minneapolis school district fails again

What do you call a $3.7 million accounting mistake? The Minneapolis School District referred to it as a "clerical error" after the finance department discovered a massive error in the recently passed teacher contract.

A commentary piece featured in the Star Tribune by FFM's Jonathan Blake argues that a mistake of this magnitude, in which the cost of a contract is misstated by public officials by more than 30 percent, is not a "clerical error."
